The ability to upgrade items allows players to enhance their weapons and gear by adding new affixes, boosting its stats base or providing additional benefits. To upgrade an item, the player needs to have it in their inventory and have access to the kiln.

Upgrade components

Leveling

The upgrade system in Path of Exile has some important differences from the previous versions.
