Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. Requirements

When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an Best item upgrader.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
