Why Item Upgrade Might Be Your Next Big Obsession

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original Best item upgrader and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, Item upgrades unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is to be rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto the new gear.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an Best item upgrade is reached.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

item upgrades, more resources, give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can enhance the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of that item and the upgrade items Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
