They're easy to open and close, but I found their plastic textured coatings to be a little rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the complete set of features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place across the globe. It also comes with many options for customization. It will also send you notifications when the door is unlocked, when the fridge or freezer requires defrosting, and when the filter requires a change.

It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill, an option available in a few other GE refrigerators that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to disperse simultaneously. The fridge displays a countdown timer to reveal how much water is left but it's not as helpful as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless part in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that helps keep vegetables and fruits fresher longer and has dual compressors to ensure maximum food preservation. The ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces an ice pyramid with only a little water. This fridge is perfect for a single household or a kitchenette with an elegant design and top of the line food preservation.

This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The freezer temperature remained steady at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed by more than a fraction, this is essential to avoid freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, reaching the temperature that was set for the initial setting within a matter of hours and keeping that temperature steady throughout the course of our tests.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage space into a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge has a standard french door fridge freezer with ice maker-door layout with gallon-sized door bins on each door, two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set more spacious drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded in order to create more space for taller items. You'll also find a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

The refrigerator comes with an ice maker making it easy to transfer the ice when needed. The freezer also features clever design features, such as sliding drawers that can help you organize your items. It has a large bin to store frozen food items, and a separate bin for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. It allows you to control the temperature of your fridge and lighting using your smartphone. It's an easy way to monitor your refrigerator and control it, especially when away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily add to the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact, it took longer to defrost and chill food in this refrigerator than some of the others we tried. This could be due to the bigger capacity.

The other issue we have with the doors of this refrigerator. The sunken handles allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However taller people struggle to close them without slamming. It would have been much better if they had handles mounted on the front.

Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also less expensive than the most expensive counter depth refrigerators that have an icemaker, which makes it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

It's a basic refrigerator that may not be as appealing as some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make it a suitable choice. Its most notable feature is the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items like vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also has a large water dispenser as well as a good ice maker that operates quickly.
