Item Upgrading: What No One Is Talking About

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will be able to gain an additional 3% of the previous damage for each time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level for a component to be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a particular kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment as well as the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade can be prefixed or a suffix changing the name of the item upgrade to the upgrade (for instancefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of the equipment that require fewer Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades are available for purchase them in the cash shop, or by obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of an item upgrade will be available at the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their gear even in the event that they don't know what will be improved following the reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process may be costly and there is a substantial possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails; a failed upgrade will ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the risk of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade components which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the effectiveness of all nodes in a radius around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in various ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 whenever you can.

In the final game you'll find that the best way to improve your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

Each Glyph has a particular range of values can enhance a stat by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will require them to be placed on your equipment. Leveling

The item upgrade system allows players to increase the power of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with a level, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level requires a different number of components and the cost of upgrading increase as the item upgrader mod (www.optionshare.tw) gets advanced in level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of crafting tables. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields some Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item, and when enough are earned, the upgrade item can be claimed and Item upgrader mod any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced by a new item of the same type. This means that the same armor piece will become a weapon or item Upgrader Mod shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a disadvantage in that the item could increase in price even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can reroll item upgrades. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, with a level 1 base and a completely different set of bonus bonuses. This can be useful, but should not be repeated often since it can be a waste of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value and allow players to personalize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants buffs when the player is repeatedly in or exits water. This item can be upgraded many times, increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item can be extremely valuable in PvP, as an item that is properly rolled it can be worth between 20 and 50 times its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The item upgrader allows players to raise the level of their equipment (armor weapons, armor, and trinkets) above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of the item, and upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage and required strength and dexterity to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

All items are upgradeable up to five times except for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it is at risk of failing. The probability of failure increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to return to its initial state and the player having to pay for more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item isn't upgraded, the experience bar in its growth bar will be reset to zero. Additionally the item will lose any bonuses it gained, including crit chance and attack damage, and all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

If an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that when a weapon is upgraded, if it gains a crit chance increase it will be applied before any attack damage increases. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to item definitions. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a standard equipment item might have 5 upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they may require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will have to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses mentioned above.
